Models 1227/500, 1332/500 & 1437/500

Vent-A-Kiln models 1227/500, 1332/500, and 1437/500 are similar to the corresponding 1227, 1332, and 1437 models. They are cost-effective, small-format, variable-height process ventilation systems for electric kilns designed for hobbyists and studio potters, and for anyone else using a small-format kiln.

The difference is that the 500-series models feature a higher capacity, 500-CFM blower mounted on top of the hood (plus a corresponding heavier counter-weight).

Applications for the 500-series models can include the accommodation of rectangular or oval-shaped kilns - as long as the diagonal or maximum linear dimension does not exceed the kiln diameter below (e.g. 23 inches for model 1227/500).

Standard 500-series models are positive-pressure systems, which can be easily modified at the factory for negative-pressure applications.

Both positive and negative-pressure models are available with an optional Swinging Wall Bracket.

"SST" systems include a three-panel Safety Screen and a Programmable Timer.
